To order for the 3 o'clock meeting today, the Charlottesville City Council, first order of business is to take attendance.

Okay, so we got three out of four.

Yeah, I have a motion for City Council closed session pursuant to section 2.2-3712 with the Virginia Code.

Is there a second?

All in favor say aye.

All opposed?

Motion carries 3-0.

We are now to be in closed session.

For anybody following, we expect to be back from closed session somewhere around 5.

It may be before that.

Depends on how long our last interview runs.

I move that this council certified by a recorded vote that to the best of each council member's knowledge only public business matters lawfully exempted from the open meeting requirements of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act and identified in the motion convening the closed session were heard, discussed, or considered in the closed session.
