Parcel has frontage along State Route 616. The northern portion of the parcel is adjacent to the I-64 interchange at Exit 129. PROPOSAL: Proposal for new 4,000 square foot gross-floor-area-maximum auto service station with five fuel pumps under two canopies, convenience store and restaurant on the approx. 3.28-acre portion of the site that is zoned C-1 Commercial and fronts on State Route 616 (Black Cat Road). To receive public comment on its intent to adopt an ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 20-A(6), An Ordinance to Ensure the Continuity of Government During the COVID-19 Disaster by: (1) adding to Section 4 the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library system to the list of public bodies providing “essential governmental functions” and making other minor revisions to Section 4; (2) revising Section 6 regarding how public bodies provide notice of and conduct public meetings in light of new State law; and (3) changes to other sections to ensure consistency with the proposed amendments to Sections 4 and 6.

  • During the time set aside for "Matters Not Listed for Public Hearing on the Agenda", individuals may address the Board of Supervisors concerning any issue not listed on the agenda for Public Hearing. Individuals are allowed three minutes to speak, unless otherwise decided. A sign-up sheet is provided at the meeting. During Public Hearings, the Board will only acknowledge speakers addressing the item listed for Public Hearing. Speakers are limited to one appearance of three minutes per public hearing item.
